Launching new microhabitat programs.
This year, Village and Wilderness introduces the Incubator Grant pilot to help launch new microhabitat programs with essential seed funding and eventual integration into the nationwide Practitioners Circle of experienced programs.
A cornerstone of this effort is our Microhabitat Program Manual, a comprehensive guide for aspiring program leaders, promoting the development of rigorous and impactful programs particularly for the communities, species, and climate-vulnerable landscapes that need them most.

Initial applications (for the “Strategic Plan Award”) will be accepted on a rolling basis until 8 applications have been selected or 11:59pm US EST on 21 March 2025, whichever comes first.
